I love lifting [heavy] weights, there I said it. I just do. Some months I would lift just twice a week, other months it would be 4x/week. Currently, I have been lifting 4-5x/week and have no intention of that changing. I surprisingly enjoy the times I am the only girl in the free weight area and am taken [somewhat] seriously by those macho lifters. Not only are the physical benefits undeniable, but how it empowers my mind and body is alluring. Weight lifting has become my second love to running.
